I have used TaxiVan.net's removal services twice - once in November 2013, and once in May 2014. Both times they were late - once by 30min, once by several hours. However they were helpful and pleasant and prompt once they did arrive! The price was very affordable compared with many other removals, especially for small flats/local sharer moves. Some of them their fees are so high it just about makes your eyes pop out of your head. For the work done, I think the price quotes by TaxiVan is fair. But beware, they do apparently ahve a reputation for being late.. although in London who isn't late at times :o).

A terrible, terrible experience. The van was 2 hours late though he kept telling me he was 10 minutes away. We had booked the van to take two passengers but there was no space when he eventually arrived. On top of everything they practically threw the delivery into the back of the van and ended up damaging some pieces.
I ended up missing a really important exhibition installation because of this company. When I called to complain they just didn't care and hung up. Seriously, do not use this company.

Ordered and stupidly pre-paid online through Google checkout for 11am arrival of van for our move. No sign after 2 hours, ringing them all morning - no answer, no call to me. Emailed and they said van would be there by 2pm. I said OK because I'd already paid and we had to be out by 3pm. Had to book new van with different company at 2.45pm & because I had to cancel at this time they kept half the money even though I had no option. In dealing with getting my money back they've been rude, evasive and dishonest - making some wild claims. But for the record their T&Cs do not affect your consumer rights and YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK - I DID. So advice to anyone this has happened to - ask for advice from Consumer rights @ Direct Gov here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DG_195913 and they'll guide you through getting your money back - and report your case to trading standards - if this happened to you. Their website did not work when I booked online. They then quoted me one price on the phone but charged me almost double once the move was done. The driver didn't turn up the first time either. Despite them bieng aware that they have not provided a good service they have been extremely rude on the phone and have refused to release the recording of my booking to me to verify that I did not agree to the increased price as they claim. I have reported them to Trading Standards as I do not want this to happen to anyone else. I will certainly be using another provider in the future.

I really wish I had read reviews of this company before booking online.

I ordered a van to pick up a bed from North London and deliver it to me in East London (not very far at all). I have paid online so am extremely anxious that I have just been conned out of my money as it is an hour later and not only have they not arrived- they have not called me to tell me it would be late.

I have called their office and their after hours mobile and left numerous messages and emailed them repeatedly and have had no response.

I genuinely think this whole company is a scam. No wonder their website encourages ordering online- that way you don't realise that they never answer the phone and can just take your money and you'll have no chance of trying to get a refund.

Appalling. I plan to report them to trading standards.

Awful. Unprofessional and rude. I would urge everyone who is thinking of using Taxivan.net not to. Having paid £55 upfront for a man with a van to collect my partner from his property and then mine the same morning in North London to relocate to Clapham they simply didn't bother to turn up. We left them a message asking where they were and they sent a text back to say they had missed us off their schedule and would try to get a van to us. We spent an hour chasing them by phone and text and they didn't even have the decency to pick up the phone. We left one message in desperation begging them to call us and that we were deeply shocked at how awful they were beinga and they eventually text back saying after our threatening messages we should find an alternative! Threatening?! We had to find van using Zip Car at the last minute, load everything ourselves then drive to Clapham unload ourselves then drive back to North London to drop the van off. Unbelievable. They refunded our money but no apology, nothing. We are going to contact a small claims court for compensation. Disgraceful.
